Sangeet Alankar with proficiency in Hindustani Vocal Music, Piano, and Bharatnatyam
About Me
Hello Music lovers,
With an experience of 15 years* in Hindustani vocals, light music, and piano, I impart my knowledge to the best of my ability and help students in building a scientific way of understanding what music is all about.
Methodology: I start from the basic unit of music that is Swara( a note), formation of notes, note identification, basic ragas, intermediate and advanced ragas associated with khayal, alap and taans. Besides that, I also teach different shailis like Drupad, Dhamar, Tappa, Thumri, and Tarana.
Light vocal is again a different section with basic ragas, bhakti geet, bhava geet, bhajans, Vachanas, movie songs, etc( Hindi English and Kannada).
I have to my credit an Album named “Absolute conscience” which is also my first western composition. Coming to the piano, I teach Bollywood songs with western chords. Classical ragas with fusion music.Pure classical as well.
I do choreograph Bollywood dance and have cleared intermediate levels in Bharatnatyam. The teaching methodology is again scientific. Currently Pursuing advanced levels in dance.
With an online teaching experience of 2 years* and offline teaching experience of 13 years*, I have many awards such as Vocational Excellence Award, Aralu Mallige Award, Mansur Trust Award to my credit.

The classes will be very interactive and fun all the while focusing on the learning aspect. Whatever be the genre of music or instrument or dance, the student will have clear insight and proficiency.
